Among other things, Alexander Bishop is a fantastic classical music composer/writer/pianist/guitarist/vocalist/everything musical (Alex Bishop’s music on Myspace). He sent me one song which I listened to literally 38 times while I designed this poster for his upcoming senior recital, which is on December 1st at 8pm at POHCHO Concert Hall, and I highly recommend attending. The only thing we discussed prior to this (we had no formal brief or meeting) was his interest in the Sci-fi genre. I kept this in mind, and while loosing myself in his composition “Escala”, out came this exploration of surreal landscape and nature, Sci-fi elements, and an unintentional, yet surprisingly enjoyable 80′s vibe:
